what kind of sicko doesn't feel completely awful for beating a poor dog?

my new neighbor. that's who. wow, i'm absolutely furious as i write this and i'm trying SO hard not to use any eff-words or anything too harsh, but . . . oh. my. god. i'm livid right now.

his dog is outside playing in the yard, when this little kid comes walking by with his little yippie dog who, of course, starts barking at the neighbor's dog.

this little dog is going crazy! so, the neighbor's dog prances over to check this little guy out, nothing major, just to say hi.

this little dog is just going absolutely nuts, while my neighbor's dog is just friendly, sniffing, saying hello. so, the stupid bastard neighbor runs over picks up his medium-sized dog by the skin on his neck and back, drags it into the garage and just starts

hitting it hard with a closed fist!! at least 5 hard smacks that i can tell. for no god damn reason. right in front of his small children, one being toddler age.

people. i'm shaking right now. cruelty towards animals really does not fly with me whatsoever. especially sweet, friendly dogs.

i stood up from my chair to go yell at him, but my parents said to stay out of it, and by that time, the poor thing comes wobbling out of the garage, legs trembling so hard it could hardly stand up.

i stared the guy down from across the street for at least a minute as he sat in his garage. he had to know i was staring and for the reason that he is a complete ASSHOLE. hopefully he knows that i will be keeping my eye on him from now on. someone who can lose their temper that easily does not deserve pets or children. i'm sorry for venting here, but i truly hope that someday he stumbles upon this post and realizes how utterly wrong he is for that behavior.

she is a little weimaraner :( so cute, too.
