tonight, i have a date with jeremy.
i'm excited, it's been a while since we've dragged our lazy bums
out on the town. jeremy usually works later, and i usually work on
editing or other "business"-y things after i get of work and before he gets home.
our favorite things to do on nights like this include watching scary movies, eating del taco WAY too late at night, or going out to movies (usually scary or boy-friendly. neither of us are way into chick-flicks. although, i do love them once in a while.), and spending HOURS agreeing on restaurants that we will both enjoy eating at (seriously. we can drive aimlessly for longer than is healthy). we are both VERY picky eaters.
tonight, i could do a scary movie, but what i really want is to eat outside somewhere under a big umbrella. i truly love eating outside, it offers a completely different feel to the whole experience.
also, i tried the new coffee shop i mentioned earlier; f-stop cafe. it was
fantastic! great coffee, loved the interior layout, and AWESOME
photography display.
i think i will go there again very soon. maybe even tonight.
3 grande coffees isn't too much in one day, right?? ;)
what do you love to do on date nights?
I love date nights too! :) Most of the time we do the usual dinner and then a movie. We really like going to a place here in my town called the Bijou where you can have dinner while you watch a movie. It's a nice atmosphere and I can unwind with a glass of red wine.

ReplyDeleteBut my favorite is Sushi...Than a walk downtown, bobbing in and out of the little shops Ive some how never seen. Going to a new book store to find a brilliant new book we will both enjoy. Than sitting on some abandoned roof, or mine for that matter, staring up at the (sort of ) starry sky discussing everything and anything. :)
Your date night sounds nice! I'm wondering where you ended up eating now? :) My fave date nights involve movies, dinner and long drives also... especially around the pacific coast highway at night. Stars and ocean and maybe a quick stop for a walk on the beach at night. Very dreamy.
