does anyone besides myself get that annoying static in their
hair as soon as the weather turns cold?
i'm quite sure i'm not alone.
the most difficult part about it is that my bangs just stick to my forehead.
drives me bananas!
(can you see the static??)
you and chloe have perfect hair!!! i'm thoroughly jealous. looks cute every single way!
ReplyDeletei never wash mine...haha. and i pile on the product. so pretty much i have disgusting hair! but yours rocks, static or not!!! that headband is the cats meow. i dig it.
ReplyDeleteI totally get that. But it happens to me when it gets hot. I do the twist too. I'm a huge fan of the pony tail but I just had all my hair chopped off because I find I turn to the pony tail too easily and need to style it up a bit more. Living in a country town really doesn't help though, I cant look too stylish :P
ReplyDeleteha ha maddie...i <3 the pics...and for the record you have the cutest hair ever (staticky or not)!!!!
ReplyDeletethose headbands are a great fix.
ReplyDeletebtw i love all your photos. all beautiful.

You need to add moisture to your house & then it's bye bye static. You can always style with a curling iron that uses steam or hot rollers. Quick & easy peasy & again no more static.
ReplyDeleteWhat the?! Maddie, your hair is beautiful and I liked all 3 styles. You look great, and that headband is so fun!
ReplyDeletegosh, you hair looks good in every single one!? are you just trying to make us jealous?! jk, but really, i have always wanted your hair.. i don't know how to help with the static though, i think you got some good ideas though! love ya sis!
ReplyDeleteI always do the fish braid thing to my bangs...I wish I could pull off your style. And. I . HATE. Static!
ReplyDeleteBuuuut. I LOVE your new blog layout!
Happens to me too. I have been doing the twist back thing. I put Biosilk in my hair and it helps with the static.
ReplyDeletei think your hair looks cute in all the photos! even the "static" one. :) i use cute little hair clips and barettes ALL the time. target has these super cute little glittery bow bobby pins right now. they're $6 for a pack of three - gold, silver, and black.
ReplyDeletethis may sound silly, but have you ever tried putting rollers in your hair? i did hair for about ten years and whenever short haired girls came in saying they were on a big date and didn't want frizz or to get crazy, i would do rollers. it will give your hair major volume the first hour, but it calms down and no static :)
ReplyDeletebtw, you are adorable!! i love that headband!
thank you everyone! i have the bestest blog friends :) and now i have LOTS of great suggestions to try. my hair is the worst when it comes to static, seriously. sticks to my coat, my face, my neck, the ceiling in my car, the head rest in my car, my pillow, my BOYFRIEND . . . bleh. i'm definitely going to try these <3
ReplyDeleteI love your hair, so cute!! I just found you and Chloe through Diana...wanted to come say hi!
ReplyDeleteMaddie you have such great hair!! I could never pull off that cut. But I do pull back pieces in front a lot of time with either a bobby pin, or a braid. I think it gives it a different look depending on how much you pull back too. And I know there is product you can get to get rid of static, a frizz control would probably work.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I had no idea there were going to be more photos!! That makes me so excited, I love that surpise :)
story of my life. love the headband on you!
