hair woes.

does anyone besides myself get that annoying static in their
hair as soon as the weather turns cold?

i'm quite sure i'm not alone.
the most difficult part about it is that my bangs just stick to my forehead.
drives me bananas!

(can you see the static??)

i have two current solutions until my hair is long enough for a ponytail:
the twist back.

and the headband (with the cute peacock feather hairpiece by amanda.).

  3. I totally get that. But it happens to me when it gets hot. I do the twist too. I'm a huge fan of the pony tail but I just had all my hair chopped off because I find I turn to the pony tail too easily and need to style it up a bit more. Living in a country town really doesn't help though, I cant look too stylish :P

  5. You need to add moisture to your house & then it's bye bye static. You can always style with a curling iron that uses steam or hot rollers. Quick & easy peasy & again no more static.

  9. Happens to me too. I have been doing the twist back thing. I put Biosilk in my hair and it helps with the static.

  10. i think your hair looks cute in all the photos! even the "static" one. :) i use cute little hair clips and barettes ALL the time. target has these super cute little glittery bow bobby pins right now. they're $6 for a pack of three - gold, silver, and black.

  11. this may sound silly, but have you ever tried putting rollers in your hair? i did hair for about ten years and whenever short haired girls came in saying they were on a big date and didn't want frizz or to get crazy, i would do rollers. it will give your hair major volume the first hour, but it calms down and no static :)

btw, you are adorable!! i love that headband!

  13. Maddie you have such great hair!! I could never pull off that cut. But I do pull back pieces in front a lot of time with either a bobby pin, or a braid. I think it gives it a different look depending on how much you pull back too. And I know there is product you can get to get rid of static, a frizz control would probably work.
Anyway, I had no idea there were going to be more photos!! That makes me so excited, I love that surpise :)
