this past weekend . . .

i went to the family reunion of this boy.

it was a lot of fun! we got to monticello late friday, then

met up with his family early on saturday.

the day was filled with four-wheeling, pinewood derby racing,

eating delicious food, and (my favorite part) taking pictures with jeremy and his

beautiful sister roxy :)

the three of us had fun learning new things about

our cameras, each other's style and technique, and

about our own style and technique.

believe it or not, jeremy and roxy, but sharing tips

with you taught me new things! it also made

me realize things i haven't thought of before . . . hard to explain i guess . . .

but thanks, you two :)

on sunday morning, i woke up with a MAJOR migraine.

it seems that i often get migraines when

i'm out of town, on vacation.

i'm so sorry Redd family!

you are amazing people and i wish we could have spent

more time with you at the reunion on sunday :(

but thank you, i really had an awesome time and felt like part

of the family :)

i wanted to share a few shots from saturday, and i will definitely post more later!

can you believe the leaves are already changing?!

i'm trying to make this season magical, because the past 8 months

just FLEW by! i can't even believe it's september.

last fall was amazing. this one will be even better.

i bought some fall colored paper at the craft store

and i plan on making a fun fall photo album, or a planner

or something . . .

tonight, i'm going to try to teach myself some new tricks

in photoshop, watch grey's anatomy, and wait for jer to get off of work!
